Shirley Coffie graduated in 2010 at George Mason University with a Masters of Science degree in Nursing with a focus in Adult Nurse Practitioner studies. Before graduating from George Mason, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Howard University, and completed Pre-Nursing school at University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Coffie also attended Montgomery College and University of Cape Coast in Ghana.
She is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, and is also Adult, Child, and Infant CPR certified. Coffie completed her clinical rotations at the Washington Hospital Center, the Mary Center, the Lorton Internal Medicine, and at the Clifton Medical Associates. She also works at the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia, as a Registered Nurse.
Shirley is originally from Ghana, West Africa, and came to the United States in 2000. She likes to spend time with her babies, watch movies, and sing.
