Matthew Roh, M.D. obtained his medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. He then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital. Dr. Roh completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, one of the nation’s leading Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation programs. While at Baylor, he obtained extensive training at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR).
Dr. Roh strives to serve his patients with compassion and mutual respect. He believes this approach opens the door to excellent communication and improved outcomes.
Dr. Roh is committed to forming strong relationships with Physical Therapists through his work at Orthopedic and Wellness. He believes that follow through with physical therapy is paramount to enabling patients to become stronger, healthier and more pain free.
Dr. Roh’s current scope of practice includes: General Physiatry with a special interest in Sports Medicine and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, Electromyography/Nerve Conduction Studies, Peripheral Joint Injections, Regenerative Medicine, Musculoskeletal Pain Management and Hormone Replacement Therapy.
While not at work, Dr. Roh enjoys playing blues-rock style riffs on the electric guitar. He is also a competitive bodybuilder and has a unique sense of humor. One day he would like to visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Pandas in China.
