Abeba Tadesse or Abby, is originally from Ethiopia, but moved to the United States in 1999.
Abby completed her Pre-Physicians Assistant School at Montgomery College in 2008. She then moved on to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in 2011. She has done clinical rotations at doctor’s offices, the Penisula Regional Medical Center, Greater Southeast Hospital, and the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center.
Abby is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants. She plans to attend medical school in the near future.
Abby finds it highly rewarding to assist our patients who are in pain. She is particularly interested in the fields of geriatric medicine and surgery.
In her spare time, Abby enjoys spending time with her family, keeping up with movies and reading a good book.
Abby is fluent in Amharic.
