Name: Ray Eldon P.               Occupation: Corrections Officer

I heard about American Spine and their providers while I was researching online for options. Before my pain, I had no life. I sat around, slept and nothing else. Pain was all I knew. It affected my job, marriage and family. The pain caused me to not be able to do anything at all. I used to work out and loved being active. I couldn’t even drive without being in pain.

My visit with the group prior to my surgery was extremely professional. They actually wanted to help me get better, not drug me up and send me on my way like the other doctors I have seen. They listened and figured out what was wrong, when at least 15 other doctors could not.

After my surgery, I was without leg pain immediately. It has been about 2 months since the surgery, and I feel very good. I am now able to walk normally and be more active. My mood has changed for the better and I am getting things done that I haven’t been able to do . It has changed my life by not having to take as much medication, I wake up feeling better, and I feel more “normal.”

If I could give someone who is experiencing pain advice, I would advise that if you know something is wrong, don’t stop until you find the RIGHT answer. It took me 12 years to find the help I needed. Don’t let ANYONE tell you there is nothing that can be done.

I want to thank the doctors at American Spine for what they have done for me. I’ve been through hell, and they brought me back to a REAL life!
